Forms bushy clumps of thistle-like silvery-green leaves then in mid-late summer the tall white flower stems appear, carrying gorgeous spiky ball-shaped flowers of lavender-blue, each one about the size of a golf ball. The flowers are ideal for cutting for using fresh or dried, or simply for creating a statement in the garden. Great plant for attracting butterflies too. Drought resistant once established, best in full sun.
