Acaena is a hardy New Zealand native groundcover that grows to a height of 5-10 cm and a spread of about 60cm. Its foliage is described as a silky, bluish-grey. Best colour in full sun. Great for a rockery or as ground cover with contrasting foliage such as silvers or even blacks. Has a great effect when mass planted.
